Father's Day was a wonderful setting to bring out some great looking (and sounding) cars.
Each year our church holds a special service on Father's Day that includes a small car show. Of course, the pastoral staff and members of the church allow me to coordinate the effort to have the vehicles parked right out front of the main doors to the church building. After the morning service is over, each father is handed an ice cold Dad's Root Beer. (There is nothing quite like ordering 800 bottles of root beer from a local supplier - we always get questions as to why a church needs so many bottles of soda for a Sunday service!)

Little Levi enjoyed sitting behind the wheel of the 1955 Ford Fairlane!
This year was especially busy as I answered quite a few questions about the Club Sedan and even interviewed a couple of men that had brought cars to the show. You may recall that last year I was able to drive my friend's 1965 Mercury Comet Cyclone that he had built as a drag car, complete with a hopped up 428, Detroit locker rear end, and slicks out back. It is a real mean machine, and Tom was happy to give a few specs about the car and a little history on how long it has been in the family.
Dear friends of my wife and I came out to look at the 55 Ford for the first time and their son Levi really liked the colors. Of course, he wanted to sit behind the steering wheel and pretend he was driving so we opened up the door and said, "Hop in!" The next time they are over at the house I promised to take Levi (and his sister) for a ride in the Hot Rod Reverend's 55.
I was able to take a few photos before the crowd came out and huddled around the cars.
Thankfully, we had a wonderful attendance at the church on Father's Day and several people responded to the preaching of the gospel to receive Christ as Savior. In addition, we were able to baptize a few that had already received Christ as Savior the week before. It was a wonderful day.

Nice Wrap up on the local show. I am happy to see more videos from you on YouTube. I watch all that pop up on my YouTube feed. I have no idea how the feeds work. I really like the videos with Tim at his shop. - Cheers
