If you have been paying attention to internet news then you are probably aware that recently the company named "Photobucket" decided to begin charging its site users to share stored online photos. Thousands of people who were previously using Photobucket for "third party hosting" had a decision to make - either pay the $400 charge per year to continue or lose all links in all of your forums and threads you had previously posted to. I had decided on the latter because I did not want to pay such an unreasonable amount. But I did need an alternative as there were many views to my build threads on the three forums I frequent. All totaled there were well over 100,000 views among the Jalopy Journal, FordBarn, and Y-Blocksforever sites. That's quite a bit. When I discovered the comparatively cheaper price of Wix when lined up against Photobucket, I considered it time to create my own website so that I could post what i wanted, when I wanted, and for how much I wanted. I do plan to continue posting on the other sites but will no longer keep the 1955 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan build thread on any of those sites.
All of the text, and as many photos and videos possible, have been brought over to HotRodReverend.com. The next several posts for the blog will be lengthy but keep in mind that they are former posts that have been recovered and collected for our new website. No posts or information from individuals or entities have been brought over to HotRodReverend.com unless people are writing in the comment section below.
